ENERGY ANGEL AKA Jess

Hi, I’m Jess and I create clothing under the label Energy Angel. Energy Angel is all about renewal and expression. A lot of these designs often come to life from repurposed materials that are damaged or dull -- seeing the potential in what many would considered "flawed". Every piece is made one-of-a-kind, just like us!

When I started designing in 2022, it wasn’t just about making clothes—it was about transforming energy, which felt like a mirror of what I was going through in life. It’s all about taking flaws and turning them into something even better than before, just like how we can transform ourselves. I dove into these designs during a time when I needed to heal and shift my own energy, so each creation is tied to my spiritual growth <3

CHLOTHING STORE  aka Chloë

Hi!! It's Chloë. I sell vintage under Spiceworld and have my own brand, Chlothing Store, where I showcase my original and handmade designs. Consider me the unofficial queen of statement pieces—you'll find plenty of bold and unique items in my vintage shop. I'm a Scorpio, originally from Oklahoma City but now living the dream in Los Angeles. Thrifting has been a part of my life since birth, and I started making my own clothes about five years ago.

As the head of vendor recruitment for Holy Thrift, I'm always on the lookout for new shops to join our ever-growing team.

SICKO KITTENS AKA Alex

hi ! my name is alex and i make sicko kittens ♡

I have loved clothing since i was very young. When i was a kid, my aunt would outfit me in sexy name-brand outfits that made me feel like i was someone special. Looking back, I realize how much those early experiences shaped my perception of myself and the trajectory of my life.

As i grew older, i thought a lot about where i fit in the world, what i wanted to say and how i wanted to feel and the clothes were my physical expression of these ideas. i gravitated towards wearing things no one else was wearing and the weirder the better. I was amazed how an outfit could put me in a completely different state of mind. i think of creative thinking as a muscle and i had been using this muscle since i was a child! So as an adult, naturally, i felt compelled to create.

But it wasn't always so easy or clear since clothing never seemed like a serious option. Instead, i looked for school, sports, friends, etc to fill this blank but they didn’t. I didn’t know what i wanted to do with my life and i felt i wasn’t good at anything nor did i like anything! But when i started sewing clothes it clicked in a way that nothing had before. It captivated me where i could sew for hours and hours and i would become lost in it. Executing a creative idea feels so euphoric and intoxicating and i wish i could live in that state forever. sicko kittens is my one and only and it’s this or nothing.

To all of the girls who buy my clothes, i love you and I hope that each piece you own and every photo you see evokes the same joy and elation that I experience in bringing them to life. ♡

xoxo

AVENIR VERT AKA Olivia

Hi! It’s Olivia from Avenir Vert! I make reworked vintage pieces both one of one & made to order designs.

I’ve had a desire to take care of the environment since I was 12 years old, when I adopted a vegan lifestyle. I became interested in how we as consumers can be gentle on the planet we call home. Simultaneously, I am a girl raised by the internet, I love fashion, & femininity. I love the radical expression of art & fashion. When I was 17 years old I started Avenir Vert, where I found a way to combine my seemingly unrelated interests in environmentalism & fashion.

Avenir Vert uses recycled materials for modern styles, never sacrificing the environment for expression.

I am originally from outside Boston, but moved to Montreal in 2019 for university. I’m a total homebody, a 22 year old cat lady, and recently was quoted as saying “I don’t party, but I make clothes for girls who do."

BY B. AKA Britta

Hi! I’m Britta, the creator and sole operator behind my handmade brand BY B. Before creating my brand I was bartending full time and selling vintage on the side. When the pandemic hit in 2020, both the restaurant I worked at and thrift shops closed and I found myself without an income. Out of boredom, I decided to pull out the sewing machine I had for years and actually learn to use it. After a ton of trial and error and lots of YouTube tutorials, BY B. was born.

I started with bikinis and have now graduated to clothing. Being In efforts to create as sustainably as possible, all my pieces are made by me in vintage deadstock fabric sourced locally in Los Angeles. I’m so grateful to join the holy thrift team in paving the way for a more sustainable fashion industry.

HOOD BABY AKA Saray Martinez

Hood Baby is a design studio that I , Saray Martinez, a first generation Honduran immigrant started as a project for storytelling through textile art. Everything is made sustainably from found items and found textiles. This design studio is about connection and transmuting the emotions that make us human. Each design contains a story specific to personal experiences that I hope to use to connect to others. The designs are a celebration of culture and small moments that exist in each of our lives.
